KA317HV

The KA317HV is designed as 3-terminal positive adjustable regulator to supply more than 1.5A of load current with an output voltage adjustable over a 1.2 to 57V. It employs internal current limiting, thermal shut down and safe area compensation.

KA317HV has six features. The first one is output current in excess of 1.5A. The second one is output adjustable between 1.2V and 57V. The third one is internal thermal overload protection. The fourth one is internal short circuit current limiting. The fifth one is output transistor safe area compensation. The sixth one is TO-220 package. That are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of KA317HV  have been concluded into several points as follow. The first one is about its input-output voltage differential which would be 60V. The second one is about its lead temperature which would be 230°C. The third one is about its operating junction temperature range which would be from 0 to +125°C. The fourth one is about its storage temperature range which would be from -65 to +125°C. The fifth one is about its temperature coefficient of output voltage which would be ±0.02%/°C.

Also some electrical characteristics about KA317HV . The first one is about its line regulation which would be typ 0.01%/V and max 0.04%/V. The second one is about its load regulation which would be typ 18mV and max 25mV with condition of Ta=+25°C, 10mA <= Io <= Imax, Vo< 5V. The third one is about its adjustable pin current which would be typ 46 and max 100A. The fourth one is about its adjustable pin current change which would be typ 2.0 and max 5A. The fifth one is about its reference voltage which would be min 1.20V and typ 1.25V and max 1.30V. The sixth one is about its temperature stability which would be typ 0.7%/Vo. And so on.
