DescriptionThe K2400G is a Sidac which is a kind of silicon bilateral voltage triggered switch with greater power-handling capabilities than standard diacs. The K2400G is available in DO-15X package. The typical applications include high voltage lamp ignitors, natural gas ignitors, gas oil ignitors, high voltage power supplies, xenon ignitors, over voltage protector, pulse generators, fluorescent lighting ignitors and HID lighting ignitors.
There are some features of K2400G as follows: (1) AC circuit oriented; (2) glass-passivated junctions; (3) high surge current capability.
The following is some general notes of K2400G: (1): storage temperature range (TS) is -65 to +150; (2): junction temperature range (TJ) is from -40 to +125; (3) lead solder temperature is a maximum of +230 for 10 seconds maximum;1/16" (1.59mm) from case.
