Description

The ISL9R860PF2 is a Stealth™ diode optimized forlow loss performance in high frequency hard switchedapplications. The Stealth™ family exhibits low reverserecovery current (I_RRM) and exceptionally soft recoveryunder typical operating conditions.

This device is intended for use as a free wheeling orboost diode in power supplies and other powerswitching applications. The low I_RRM and short ta phasereduce loss in switching transistors. The soft recoveryminimizes ringing, expanding the range of conditionsunder which the diode may be operated without the useof additional snubber circuitry. Consider using theStealth™ diode with an SMPS IGBT to provide themost efficient and highest power density design atlower cost.
