ISL80102

The ISL80102 is a low voltage, high-current, single output LDOs specified for 2A and 3A output current, respectively. The features of ISL80102 are as follows: (1)Stable with all Capacitor Types; (2)2A and 3A Output Current Ratings; (3)2.2V to 6V Input Voltage Range; (4)±1.8% VOUT Accuracy Guaranteed Over Line, Load and TJ = -40 to +125; (5)Very Low 120mV Dropout Voltage at 3A.

The following is about the absolute maximum ratings of ISL80102: (1)VIN relative to GND: -0.3V to +6.5V; (2)VOUT relative to GND: -0.3V to +6.5V; (3)PG, ENABLE, SENSE/ADJ, SS Relative to GND: -0.3V to +6.5V.

The electrical characteristics of the ISL80102 are: (1)Output Short Circuit Current(3A Version): 5.0A typ at VOUT = 0V, VOUT + 0.4V < VIN < 6V; (2)Output Short Circuit Current(2A Version): 2.8A typ at VOUT = 0V, VOUT + 0.4V < VIN < 6V; (3)Thermal Shutdown Temperature: 160 °C at VOUT + 0.4V < VIN < 6V; (4)Thermal Shutdown Hysteresis (Rising Threshold): 15 °C at VOUT + 0.4V < VIN < 6V; (5)Input Supply Ripple Rejection: 55dB at f = 1kHz, ILOAD = 1A; VIN = 2.2V and 62dB at f = 120Hz, ILOAD = 1A; VIN = 2.2V; (6)Output Noise Voltage: 100 VRMS at ILOAD = 10mA, BW = 300Hz < f < 300kHz.
