The ISL6620 is a high frequency MOSFET driver designed to drive upper and lower power N-Channel MOSFETs in a synchronous rectified buck converter topology. The features of ISL6620 are as follows: (1)Dual MOSFET Drives for Synchronous Rectified Bridge; (2)Advanced Adaptive Zero Shoot-Through Protection; (3)36V Internal Bootstrap Schottky Diode; (4)Advanced PWM Protocol (Patent Pending) to Support PSI Mode, Diode Emulation, Three-State Operation.

The following is about the absolute maximum ratings of ISL6620: (1)Supply Voltage (VCC): -0.3V to 7V; (2)Input Voltage (VEN, VPWM): -0.3V to VCC + 0.3V; (3)BOOT Voltage (VBOOT-GND): -0.3V to 25V (DC) or 36V (<200ns); (4)BOOT To PHASE Voltage (VBOOT-PHASE): -0.3V to 7V (DC), -0.3V to 9V (<10ns).

The electrical characteristics of the ISL6620 are: (1)No Load Switching Supply Current: 1.27mA at f_PWM = 300kHz, V_VCC = 5V; (2)Standby Supply Current: 1.85mA at IVCC PWM 0V to 2.5V transition, EN = High, 1.15mA at PWM 0V to 2.5V transition, EN = Low; (3)VCC Rising POR Threshold: 3.2 V min, 3.8 V typ and 4.4 V max; (4)VCC Falling POR Threshold: 3.0 V min, 3.4 V typ and 4.0 V max; (5)VCC POR Hysteresis: 130 mV min, 300 mV typ and 530 mV max; (6)EN High Threshold: 1.40 V min, 1.65 V typ and 1.90 V max; (7)EN Low Threshold: 1.20 V min, 1.35 V typ and 1.55 V max.
