DescriptionThe ISL6440IAZ-T is one member of the ISL6440 family which designed as the high-performance, dual-output PWM controller that optimized for converting wall adapter, battery or network intermediate bus DC input supplies into the system supply voltages required for a wide variety of applications such as: (1)power supplies with two outputs; (2)xDSL modems/routers; (3)DSP, ASIC, and FPGA power supplies; (4)set-top boxes; (5)dual output supplies for DSP, memory, logic, uP core and I/O; (6)telecom systems. This device has the control circuits for two synchronous buck converters.
Features of the ISL6440IAZ-T are:(1)Pb-free plus anneal available (RoHS compliant);(2)excellent dynamic response--voltage feed-forward with current mode control;(3)extensive circuit protection functions such as PGOOD, UVLO, overcurrent, overtemperature and independent shutdown for both PWMs;(4)progra-mmable soft-start;(5)no external current sense resistor;(6)out of phase PWM controller operation;(7)switching frequency:300 kHz;(8)two independently programmable output voltages;(9)wide input supply voltage range:5.6V to 24V and 4.5V to 5.6V.
