The IP5160U is designed as one kind of switched-mode power supply control circuit with some features such as:(1)stabilised power supply;(2)temperature compensated reference source;(3)sawtooth generator;(4)pulse width modulator;(5)remote on/off switching;(6)low supply voltage protection;(7)loop fault protection;(8)demagnetisation/overvoltage protection;(9)maximum duty cycle clamp.This single monolithic chip of the IP5160U incorporates all the control and supervisory (protection) functions required in switched mode power supplies, including an internal temperature compensated reference source,internal reference, sawtooth generator,pulse width modulator,output stage and various protection circuits.
