The FCT240 is designed to be employed as a memory and address driver, clock driver, and bus-oriented transmitter/receiver which provides improved board density. It has many unique features: The first one is 25% faster than FAST. The second one is 64mA IOL. The third one is CMOS power levels (1mW typ. static). The forth one is IDT74FCT240A meets or exceeds JEDEC standard 18 specifications. The fifth one is it is available in SOIC package.
 
There are some absolute maximum ratings about IDT74FCT240A. Terminal Voltage with Respect to GND(VTERM(2)) is 0.5 V to +7 V.Terminal Voltage with Respect to GND(VTERM(3)) is 0.5 V to VCC V.Storage Temperature(TSTG) is 55°C to +125°C. DC Output Current(IOUT) is +120 mA.Power dissipation(PT) is 0.5 W.
