The ICL8038CCJD waveform generator is a monolithic integrated circuit. It can produce high accuracy sine, square, triangular, sawtooth and pulse waveforms with a minimum of external components. It is fabricated with advanced monolithic technology, using Schottky barrier diodes and thin film resistors, and the output is stable over a wide range of temperature and supply variations.
There are some features of the ICL8038CCJD as follows. First is low frequency drift with temperature which is 250 ppm/. The second is low distortion which is 1% (sine wave output). Then is high linearity which is 0.1% (triangle wave output). Next is wide frequency range which is from 0.001 Hz to 300 kHz. The fifth is variable duty cycle which is from 2% to 98%.
