Description

These CMOS/DMOS high voltage analog switches HV341 are designed to handle high voltage analog signals. They may be used when analog voltages are low and high voltage immunity is desired. The signal handling capability extends from positive to negative supply voltage; 100V peak to peak with +-50V power supplies. Inputs are compatible with CMOS logic, with a zero level turning the switches ON. Operating supply voltage ranges from +-20V to +-50Vwith dual output power supplies, with the positive supply current below 300uA and negative supply not exceeding 100uA. When a single output power supply is used, operating voltage ranges from +20V to +50V, with less than 20uA operating current when logic input signal equals the supply voltage. With the addition ofseries diodes on the power supply and ground inputs, the HV341 series drivers will withstand +80V to -100V excursion on the inputs or switch pins without damage, or will withstand signal input with the power supplies OFF.

The features of HV341/HV343/HV345/HV348 can be summarized as (1)±20V to ±50V single and dual supply operation; (2)RON less than 55 (HV348); (3)signal switching from positive to negative rail; (4)-50db OFF isolation at 5MHz; (5)withstand +80V to -100 spikes; (6)withstand VSIG with power supply off.

The absolute maximum ratings of HV341/HV343/HV345/HV348 are (1)supply voltage, VPP: -0.3V to +65V; (2)supply voltage, VNN: -0.3V to +65V; (3)data input voltage VNN to VPP; (4)input current Switches ±200mA/Logic inputs ±30mA; (5)continuous total power dissipation: plastic package 500mW/ ceramic packages 750mW; (6)storage temperature rang: -65°C to +150°C.
