HI-8588CRT has five features. (1)Direct ARINC 429 line receiver interface in a small outline package. (2)Receiver input hystersis at least 2 volts. (3)Test inputs that bypass analog input and can power down and tri-state outputs. (4)Plastic and ceramic package options - surface mount and DIP. (5)Mil processing available. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratingsof HI-8588CRT have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supply voltage Vcc would be 7V. (2)Its ARINC input -pins 3&4 voltage at either pin would be from +29V to -29V. (3)Its DC current per input pin would be +/-10mA. (4)Its power dissipation at 25°C would be 0.7W for plastic DIL and would be 0.5W for ceramic DIL. (5)Its solder temperature would be 275°C for 10 sec.
