The HD74LS245 is designed as one kind of ictal bus transceivers with three-state outputs for synchronous two-way communication between data buses. The control function implementation minimizes external timing requirements. The HD74LS245 allows data transmission from the A bus to the B bus or from the B bus to the A bus depending upon the logic level at the direction control (DIR) input. The enable input can be used to disable the device so that the buses are effectively isolated.
Some absolute maximum ratings of HD74LS245 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supplt voltage would beb 7.0V. (2)Its input voltage would be 7.0V for DIR, G and would be 5.5V for A, B. (3)Its operting temperature range would be from -20°C to +75°C.
