The HCPL-T250 is designed as 1.5A output current IGBT gate drive optocoupler which contains GaAs LED. The LED is optically coupled to an integrated circuit with a power output stage. This HCPL-T250 optocoupler is ideally suited for driving power IGBTs and MOSFETs used in motor control inverter applications. The high operating voltage range of the output stage provides the drive voltages required by gate controlled devices.
HCPL-T250 has eleven features. (1)Input threshold current 5mA max. (2)Supply current 11mA max. (3)Supply voltage 15V to 35V. (4)Output current would be +/-0.5A min.
