These enhancements and features of HA12412 have been built into the OSMT design to provide the performance of much larger indus- try standard connectors. The OSMT Interconnect System consistently achieves broad band electrical performance through 6 GHz with a maximum VSWR of 1.20:1 at 2 GHz and 1.40:1 at 6 GHz. This broad band performance establishes a reliable interface that can be utilized for future system upgrades without concerns for performance degradation. The DVxplore codecs PCI bus interface allows easy integra- tion with PCs. HA12412 takes advantage of bus mastering to mini- mize CPU utilization and maximize bus throughput. The codec also supports output of uncompressed video to a dedicated PC video port for display on the PCs monitor. The highly compressed MPEG video streams (2 to 10 Mbps) created by the codec can easily be transferred to and from standard PC ATAPI hard disk drives, eliminating the need for expensive SCSI hard disk drives.
Power Supply Voltage When the power supply voltage (Vcc) is less than 2.2V, the HA12412 is set to the Read-only mode. A delay time of 2 us is required before any device operation is initiated. The delay time is measured from the time Vcc reaches Vccmin (3.0V). During power up, /RP=GND is recommended.
