The GP1A15 is designed as one kind of high sensing accuracy type OPIC photointerrupters. Typical applications include floppy disk drives, copiers, printers, facsimiles and opetoelectronic switches, optoelectronic counters.
GP1A15 has six features. (1)High sensing accuracy (slit width 0.25mm). (2)Built-in schmidt trigger circuit. (3)Low threshold input current (Iflh max 10mA). (4)Low level supply current (Iccl max 5mA). (5)Operating supply voltage Vcc 4.5 to 17V. (6)TTL and CMOS compatible output. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of GP1A15 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its input forward current would be 50mA. (2)Its input peak forward current would be 1A. (3)Its input reverse voltage would be 6V. (4)Its input power dissipation would be 75mW. (5)Its output supply voltage would be from -0.5V to 17V. (6)Its output current would be 50mA. (7)Its output power dissipation would be 250mW. (8)Its operating temperature range would be from -25°C to 85°C. (9)Its storage temperature range would be from -40°C to 100°C.
