The GP1A06 is designed as 2-phase digital output type OPIC photointerrupter with typical applications of tape counters in VCRs and cassette tape recorders, copiers and facsimiles, industrial robots and NC machines, electronic scales.
GP1A06 has four features. (1)Built-in schmidt trigger circuit. (2)2-phase digital output with phase difference. (3)LSTTL and TTL compatible output. (4)Operating supply voltage 4.5V to 16V. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of GP1A06 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its input forward current would be 50mA. (2)Its peak forward current would be 1A. (3)Its reverse voltage would be 6V. (4)Its input power dissipation would be 75mW. (5)Its output supply voltage would be 16V. (6)Its low level output current would be 20mA. (7)Its high level output voltage would be 20V. (8)Its output dissipation would be 250mW. (9)Its operating temperature range would be from -20°C to +85°C. (10)Its storage temperature range would be from -40°C to +100°C. (11)Its soldering temperature would be 260°C.
