The GM76C88AL-15 is designed as 65,536 bit static random access memory organized as 8,192 words by 8 bits using CMOS technology and operated from a single 5V supply. Advanced circuit techniques provide low power feature with a maximum operating current of 40mA and standby current of max 100uA. GM76C88AL-15's very low standby power requirement makes it ideal for applications requiring nonvolatile storage with back-up batteries. The asynchronous and static nature of the memory requires no external clock or refreshing circuits.

GM76C88AL-15 has eight features. (1)Fast access time 150ns. (2)Low power operation 2uA typ for standby and 25mA typ for operation. (3)Completely static RAM no clock or timing strobe required. (4)Non-volatile storage with back-up batteries. (5)3-state output with wired-OR capability. (6)Directly TTL compatible all inputs and outputs. (7)Single power supply 5V +/-10%. (8)Standard 28 DIP, SOP and S-DIP. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of GM76C88AL-15 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its ambient temperature under bias would be from 0°C to 70°C. (2)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. (3)Its soldering temperature and time would be 260°C 10 seconds. (4)Its supply voltage would be from -0.5V to 7.0V. (5)Its input voltage would be from -0.5V to 7.0V. (6)Its power dissipation would be 1W. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
