The FODM124R2 is designed as one kind of 4-pin full pitch mini-flat package transistor output optocouplers which consists of a gallium arsenide infrared emitting diode driving a phototransistor in a compact 4-pin mini-flat package. The lead pitch is 2.54 mm. FODM124R2 applications include digital logic inputs, microprocessor inputs, power supply monitor, twisted pair line receiver and telephone line receiver.
FODM124R2 has six features. (1)>5mm creepage/clearance. (2)Compact 4-pin surface mount package (2.4mm maximum standoff height). (3)Current transfer ratio in selected groups DC input 100% min. (4)Available in tape and reel quantities of 500 and 2500. (5)Applicable to infrared ray reflow (260°C max, 10 seconds). (6)C-UL, UL and VDE certifications. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of FODM124R2 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its storage temperature range would be from -40°C to 125°C. (2)Its operating temperature range would be from -40°C to 110°C. (3)Its continuous forward current would be 50mA. (4)Its peak forward current 1us pulse 300pps would be 1A. (5)Its reverse input voltage would be 6V. (6)Its emitter power dissipation would be 70mW and derate linearly above 25°C would be 0.65mW/°C. (7)Its continuous collector current would be 80mA. (8)Its detector power dissipation would be 150mW and derate linearly above 25°C would be 2.0mW/°C. (9)Its collector to emitter voltage would be 80V. (10)Its emitter collector voltage would be 7V. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
