Description

The FMS6243 Low-Cost Video Filter (LCVF) is intendedto replace passive LC filters and drivers with a low-costintegrated device. Three fourth-order filters provideimproved image quality compared to typical second- orthird-order passive solutions.

The FMS6243 can be directly driven by a DC-coupledDAC output or an AC-coupled signal. Internal diodeclamps and bias circuitry can be used if AC-coupledinputs are required (see the Applications section fordetails).

Delay for each channel of FMS6243 can be independently controlledwith an external capacitor.

The outputs of FMS6243 can drive AC- or DC-coupled single (150W)or dual (75W) loads. DC coupling the outputs removesthe need for output coupling capacitors. The input DClevels are offset approximately +280mV at the output(see the Applications section for details).
