Description

The FDMS2380 is an intelligent low side driver with built inrecirculation and demagnetization circuits designedspecifically for driving inductive loads. The inputs areCMOS compatible. A separate diagnostic signal for eachchannel provides the system with an indication of theoperation of the solenoid or the presence of a protectionfault condition. Built-in Over-voltage, Over-current, Overtemperaturecircuits protect the device from theseconditions. Additional diagnostic circuitry is included fordetecting Open Load, Under-voltage and output groundfault conditions. The FDMS2380 contains two independentintelligent low side solenoid drivers.
