Description

The XS™ DrMOS family is Fairchild?s next-generation fullyoptimizedultra-compact integrated MOSFET plus driver powerstage solution for high current, high frequency synchronousbuck DC-DC applications. The FDMF6704 DrMOS integrates adriver IC, two power MOSFETs and a bootstrap Schottky diodeinto a thermally enhanced compact 6 mm x 6 mm MLPpackage. With an integrated approach, the complete switchingpower stage is optimized with regards to driver and MOSFETdynamic performance, system inductance and R_DS(ON). Thisgreatly reduces the package parasitics and layout challengesassociated with conventional discrete solutions. The FDMF6704 driver ICincorporates advanced features such as SMOD. PWM input isTri-State compatible. A 5 V gate drive and an improved PCBinterface [Low Side MOSFET exposed pad] ensure higherperformance. This product is compatible with the new Intel6 mm x 6 mm DrMOS specification.
