The FA5321P is designed as a current mode switching power supply control IC. In addition to basic control circuits, this IC contains protection and accessory circuits. Use this IC to develop a high performance compact switching power circuit.
FA5321P has eleven features. (1)Drive circuit for connecting a power MOSFET. (2)Overvoltage protection (latch mode). (3)Intermittent operation under overload (automatic return). (4)Independent switching and stop period with external components. (5)Control of maximum duty cycle with an external components. (6)Peak current adjustment. (7)Soft-start. (8)Synchronous operation with an external signal. (9)Wide operating frequency range. (10)Low standby current typ 90uA. (11)16-pin package SOP. Those are all the main features.
