The EUP3651A is a low noise, constant frequency charge pump that uses double mode, direct connection (1X) and fractional charge pump (1.5X) conversion, to maximize efficiency for white LED applications. The EUP3651A is capable of driving four white LEDs, separated into Main and Sub groups, each current channel is regulated with constant current for uniform intensity. A low external parts count (two 1uF flying capacitors and two small 1uF capacitors at VIN and VOUT) makes the EUP3651A ideally suited for small battery-powered applications.
The EN logic input is used to enable, disable, and set current for each group LED with a 16-step linear scale.Two groups LEDs can be configured with independent LED currents between 3mA and 30mA in regular mode and all current can be changed to 15% of previous setting when entering low power mode. If EN is kept low for more than 1.5ms, the EUP3651A enters shutdown.
The EUP3651A is available in a 12-pin 3mm x 3mm TDFN package (0.8mm max height).
