The EPM5032 is designed as one kind of EPLDs which is optimized for speed. It can integrate multiple SSI, MSI TTL or SSI and MSI TTL as well as CMOS logic devices. In addition, it can replace multiple 20-pin PAL or PLA devices and have logic left over for further integration.
EPM5032 has six features. (1)High speed, single LAB MAX 5000 EPLD. (2)32 individually configurable macrocells. (3)64 shareable expander product terms allowing 68 product terms on a single macrocell. (4)Programmable IO architecture allowing up to 24 inputs or 16 outputs. (5)Available in 28-pin windowed ceramic and plastic one-time-programmable (OTP) packages. (6)Military devices available. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of EPM5032 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supply voltage would be min -2.0V and max 7.0V. (2)Its DC input voltage would be min -2.0V and max 7.0V. (3)Its DC Vcc or GND current would be max 300mA. (4)Its DC output current, per pin would be min -25mA and max 25mA. (5)Its power dissipation would be max 1500mW. (6)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C and max 150°C. (7)Its ambient temperature range would be from -65°C and max 150°C. (8)Its junction temperature would be max 150°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
Also some electrical characteristics of EPM5032 are concluded as follow. (1)Its high level input voltage would be min 2.0V and max Vcc+0.3V. (2)Its low level input voltage would be min -0.3V and max 0.8V. (3)Its high level TTL output voltage would be min 2.4V. (4)Its low level output voltage would be max 0.45V.
