Description

The Enpirion EN5360 5MHz switch-mode step-down converter features integrated inductor to deliver the world's smallest foot print and lowest part count while greatly simplifying the test of design. The complete power supply on a chip (PwrSoC) includes controller, compensation, gate drive, power MOSFETs, and inductor in a single 8.1mm x 17mm x 2.2mm DFN package.

EN5360 A type III compensated voltage mode control architecture combined with the device's 5 MHz switching frequency yields excellent transient performance with a high degree of stability over a wide operating range.

Also featured in this EN5360 product is a 3 pin voltage ID or VID output voltage selector. This allows the designer to choose one of seven pre-defined output voltage levels, or an external voltage divider can be selected. Reduces inventory burden and reduced parts qualification expense.
