The EPM7032 is designed as one member of the MAX 7000 family which is high density, high erformance PLD based on altera's second generation MAX architecture. Fabricated with advanced CMOS technology, the EEPROM-based MAX 7000 family provides 600 to 5000 usable gates, ISP, pin-to-pin devices in the -5,-6,-7 and -10 speed grades as well as 175.4MHz.
EPM7032 has many features. (1)High performance, EEPROM-based programmable logic devices (PLDs) based on second generation multiple array matrix (MAX) architecture. (2)5V in-system programmability (ISP) through the built-in IEEE std.1149 joint test action group (JTAG) interface available in MAX 7000S devices. (3)Includes 5V MAX 7000 devices and 5V ISP-based MAX 7000S devices. (4)Built-in JTAG boundary-scan test (BST) circuitry on MAX 7000S devices with 128 or more macrocells. (5)Complete EPLD family with logic densities ranging from 600 to 5000 usable gates. (6)5ns pin-to-pin logic delays with up to 175.4MHz counter frequencies (including interconnect). (7)Peripheral component interconnect (PCI)-compliant devices available. And so on.
Some absolute maximum ratings of EPM7032 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supply voltage would be min -2.0V and max 7.0V. (2)Its DC input voltage would be min -2.0V and max 7.0V. (3)Its DC output current per pin would be min -25mA and max 25mA. (4)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. (5)Its ambient temperature range would be from -65°C to 135°C. (6)Its junction temperature would be 150°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
Also some electrical characteristics of EPM7032 are concluded as follow. (1)Its high level input voltage would be min 2.0V and max Vcc+0.5V. (2)Its low level input voltage would be min -0.5V and max 0.8V. (3)Its 5.0V high level TTL output voltage would be min 2.4V. (4)Its 5.0V low level TTL output voltage would be max 0.45V. And so on.
