The EMC2 is designed as epitaxial planar type power management dual digital transistor. Its structure contains a PNP and a NPN digital transistor and each would be with two built in resistors.

EMC2 has three features. (1)Includes a DTA124E and DTC124E transistor in a EMT or UMT or SMT package. (2)Ideal for power switch circuits. (3)Mounting cost and area can be cut in half. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of EMC2 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supply voltage would be 50V. (2)Its input voltage would be min -10V and max 40V. (3)Its output current continuous would be 30mA. (4)Its output current pulse would be 100mA. (5)Its power dissipation would be total 150mW. (6)Its junction temperature would be 150°C. (7)Its storage temperature range would be from -55°C to 150°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics of EMC2 are concluded as follow. (1)Its input voltage low level would be max 0.5V with test conditions of Vcc=5V and Io=100uA. (2)Its input voltage high level would be min 3V with test conditions of Vo=0.2V and Io=5mA. (3)Its output voltage would be typ 0.1V and max 0.3V for low level. (4)Its input current would be max 0.36mA with test conditions of Vr=5V. (5)Its DC current gain would be min 56 with test conditions of Vo=5V and Io=5mA. (6)Its transition frequency would be typ 250MHz with test conditions of Vcc=10mA and I=-5mA and f=100MHz. (7)Its input resistance would be min 15.4k and typ 22k and max 28.6k. (8)Its resistahcen ratio would be min 0.8 and typ 1 and max 1.2.
