Description

The DS2282 completely controls the Facility Data Link(FDL) as described in the Bellcore document TRTSY000194 (Extended Superframe Format InterfaceSpecification December 1987) and the ANSI docu-ment T1.4031989 (Carrier to Carrier Installation DS1Metallic Interface). DS2282 also implements the protocol thatis described in the AT&T publication TR 54016 (Re-quirements for Interfacing DTE to Services EmployingESF 1986/89). In addition it provides a number of im-portant performance parameters involved in monitoringT1 lines such as Errored Seconds, Severely ErroredSeconds, and Unavailable Seconds.
