Description

The DS18S20-PAR is a kind of thermometer, providing 9-bit centigrade temperature measurements and has an alarm function with nonvolatile user-programmable upper and lower trigger points. It can be used in HVAC environmental controls, temperature monitoring systems inside buildings, equipment or machinery, and process monitoring and control systems. It is available in TO-92 package.

Features of DS18S20-PAR are: (1)unique 1-wire interface requires only one port pin for communication; (2)requires no external components; (3)converts temperature in 750 ms; (4)user-definable non-volatile temperature alarm settings; (5)alarm search command identifies and addresses devices whose temperature is outside of programmed limits.
