DS1384FP

The DS1384FP is designed as the real-time clock (RTC), supervisor, and EEPROM that can be used in (1)portable instruments; (2)point-of-sale equipment; (3)network interface cards; (4)wireless equipment. This device provides a clock/calendar, programmable watchdog timer, powersupply monitor with reset, and 512 bytes of EEPROM.

Features of the DS1384FP are:(1)fast (400kHz) interface; (2)RTC counts hundredths of seconds, seconds, minutes, hours, day, date, month, and year with leap year compensation valid up to 2100; (3)programmable watchdog timer; (4)automatic power-fail detect and switch circuitry; (5)reset output with pushbutton reset input capability; (6)512 x 8 bits of EEPROM; (7)integrated trickle-charge capability for backup supply; (8)three operating voltages: 5.0V, 3.3V, and 3.0V; (9)low timekeeping voltage down to 1.3V; (10)-40 to +85 temperature range; (11)UL recognized.
