DS1254W has nine features. (1)Real time clock keeps track of hundredths of seconds, seconds, minutes, hours, days, date, months, and years with automatic leap year compensation valid up to the year 2100. (2)2Mx8 NV SRAM. (3)Watch function is transparent to RAM operation. (4)Automatic data protection during power loss. (5)Unlimited write cycle endurance. (6)Surface-mountable BGA module construction. (7)Over 10 years of data retention in the absence of power. (8)Battery monitor checks remaining capacity daily. (9)+3.3V or +5V operation. Those are all the main features.
