The DM74LS465N is designed as one kind of octal buffers which provide eight, two-input buffers in each package. All DM74LS465N employ the newest low-power-schottky TTL technology. One of the two inputs to each buffer is used as a control line to gate the output into the high-impedance state, while the other input passes the data through the buffer.

DM74LS465N has four features. (1)Octal versions of popular DM74365, 366, 367 and 368. (2)Typical power dissipaion is 80mW. (3)Typical propagation delay would be 15ns. (4)Low power-schottky, tri-state technology. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of DM74LS465N have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supply voltage would be 7V. (2)Its input voltage would be 7V. (3)Its operating free air temperature range would be from 0°C to 70°C. (4)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
