The DAC7811IDGSRG4 is designed as a CMOS, 12-bit, current output digital-to-analog converter (DAC). This device operates from a 2.7V to 5.5V power supply, making it suitable for battery-powered and many other applications. Typical applications include portable battery powered instruments, waveform generators, analog processing, programmable amplifiers and attenuators, digitally controlled calibration, programmable filters and oscillators, composite video and ultrasound.
DAC7801 has thirteen features. (1) 2.7V to 5.5V supply operation. (2) 50MHz serial interface. (3) 10MHz multiplying bandwidth. (4) +/-15V reference input. (5) Low glitch energy 5nV-s. (6) Extended temperature range would be from -40°C to +125°C. (7) 10-lead MSOP package. (8) 12-bit monotonic. (9) 4-quadrant multiplication. (10) Power-on reset with brownout detection. (11) Daisy chain mode. (12) Readback function. (13) Industry standard pin configuration. That are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of DAC7801 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1) Its Vdd to GND would be from -0.3 to +7.0V. (2) Its digital input voltage to GND would be from -0.3 to Vdd + 0.3V. (3) Its Iout1, Iout2 to GND would be from -0.3 to Vdd + 0.3V. (4) Its operating temperature range would be from 40 to +125°C. (5) Its storage temperature range would be from -65 to +150°C. (6) Its junction temperature (Tj max) would be +150°C. (7) Its ESD rating, HBM would be 2000 V. (8) Its ESD rating, CDM would be 1000V. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
