The DAC7513E is one member of the DAC7513 family which designed as the low-power, rail-to-rail output, 12-bit serial input digital-to-analog converter that can be used in (1)process control; (2)data acquisition systems; (3)closed-loop servo-control; (4)pc peripherals; (5)portable instrumentation; (6)programm-able attenuation. This device contains a power-on reset circuit that controls the output voltage during power-up; four separate modes of operation, which are programmable by setting two bits (PD1 and PD0) in the control register; and a 3-wire serial interface SYNC, SCLK, and DIN, which is compatible with SPI, QSPI, and Microwire interface standards as well as most Digital Signal Processors (DSPs).
