The CS5462-IS is designed as a low cost power meter solution conbinating two analog-to-digital converters (ADC), an energy to frequency converter, and energy pulse outputs on a single chip. It is designed to accurately measure and calculate energy for single phase2- or 3-wire power metering applications with minimal external components.
CS5462-IS has many features. (1)Single chip, power measurement solution. (2)Energy data linerity +/-0.1% of reading over 1000:1 dynamic range. (3)On-chip functions: measures energy and performs energy-to-pulse conversions. (4)Meets accuracy spec for IEC 687/1036. (5)On-chip system calibration option. (6)High pass filter option for both I and V. (7)2 available current input ranges. (8)On-chip 2.5V reference 25ppm/°C typ. (9)Pulse outputs for stepper motor or mechanical counter.
