CS4642-CQ

The CS4642-CQ is a Single Coil Predriver, provides interface control for the current through a primary igni- tion coil.  Features include out- put current control, input nega-tive edge filtering, stall timing and over-voltage shutdown. The IC is available as a bumped flip- chip or packaged in a 16 lead SO wide package. The features of the CS4642-CQ are: (1)40mA Driver; (2)Stall Timing; (3)Output Clamp; (4)Overvoltage Shutdown.

The following is about the absolute maximum ratings of CS4642-CQ: (1)Lead Temperature Soldering Reflow (SMD styles only): 60 sec. max above 183, 230 peak; (2)Continuous Power Supply @ VBAT, -40 < TA < 55: 5V to 24V; (3)Continuous Power Supply @ VBAT, 55 < TA < 140: 6V to 18V; (4)Frequency: 5 to 400Hz.
