The C-102 series is a kind of optically coupled isolator. C-102 series contains a gallium arsenide infrared-emitting diode and a silicon NPN photodarlington, coaxially mounted in an injection-molded, black plastic housing sealed against all external sources of optical radiation. It is designed for applications simultaneously requiring high voltage isolation, component hermeticity, and extremely high current transfer ratio.
