Dual,ultra-fast, epitaxial rectifier diodes intended for use as output rectifiers in high frequency switched mode power supplies.The BYV42EB series is supplied in the SOT404 surface mounting package.

BYV42EB has many unique features: The first one is low forward volt drop.The second one is  fast switching.The third one is soft recovery characteristic.The forth one is reverse surge capability.The fifth one is high thermal cycling performance.The sixth one is low thermal resistance.There are some limiting values.Peak repetitive reverse voltage(VRRM) is -200 V max.Crest working reverse voltage(VRWM) is 200 V max.Continuous reverse voltage(VR,Tmb is lower than 144°C) is 200 V max.Average rectified output current(IO(AV),square wave; = 0.5,Tmb is lower than 108°C) is 30 A max.No-Repetitive peak forward current per diode(IFSM, t = 10 ms) is 150 A max.Storage temperature(Tstg) is -40°C min and 150°C max.Operating junction temperature(Tj) is 150 °C max.
