BTA16-600B

The BTA16-600B is one member of the BTA16 family which is designed as the 16A TRIACS that is suitable for general purpose AC switching. So BTA16-600B can be used as an ON/OFF function in applications such as static relays, heating regulation, induction motor starting circuits or for phase control operation in light dimmers, motor speed controllers.

The absolute maximum ratings of the BTA16-600B can be summarized as:(1)Non repetitive surge peak on-state current (full cycle, Tj initial = 25°C): 168 A;(2)Peak gate current: 4 A;(3)Average gate power dissipation: 1 W;(4)Storage junction temperature range: -40 to +150 ;(5)Operating junction temperature range: -40 to +125 .
