Description

The BQ24007PWP is one member of the BQ24007 family which is designed as the single-cell Li-ion charge management IC with timer-enable for PDAs and internet applicances such as (1)PDAs; (2)Internet Appliances; (3)MP3 Players; (4)Digital Cameras. Also this device automatically restarts the charge if the battery voltage falls below an internal recharge threshold.

Features of the BQ24007PWP are:(1)highly integrated solution with fet pass transistor and reverse-blocking schottky and thermal protection; (2)timer-enable function that allows host to disable charge timer and termination when charge current is shared with a load or when battery is absent; (3)integrated voltage and current regulation with programmable charge current; (4)high-accuracy voltage regulation (±1%); (5)ideal for low-dropout linear charger designs for single-cell li-ion packs with coke or graphite anodes; (6)up to 1.2-a continuous charge current; (7)safety-charge timer during preconditioning and fast charge; (8)integrated cell conditioning for reviving deeply discharged cells and minimizing heat dissipation during initial stage of charge; (9)optional temperature or input-power monitoring before and during charge; (10)various charge-status output options for driving single, double, or bicolor leds or host-processor interface; (11)charge termination by minimum current and time; (12)low-power sleep mode.
