BQ2058SN

The BQ2058SN is one member of the BQ2058 family which is designed as the Lithium Ion pack supervisor. This device controls two external FETs to limit the charge and discharge potentials and allows charging when each individual cell voltage is below VOV (overvoltage limit). It also stops discharge on detection of an overcurrent condition, such as a short circuit. So if an overcurrent condition occurs for a userconfigurable delay period (tOCD), the DSG output is driven high, disconnecting the load from the pack.
