Description

The features of BQ2040SN-C408TR are: (1)Provides accurate measurement of available charge in NiCd,; (2)NiMH, and Li-Ion batteries; (3)Supports SBS v1.0 data set and two-wire interface; (4)Monitors charge FET in Li-Ion pack protection circuit; (5)Designed for battery pack integration; (6)Supports SBS charge control commands for NiCd, NiMH, and Li-Ion; (7)Drives a four-segment LED display for remaining capacity indication; (8)16-pin narrow SOIC.

The following is about the absolute maximum ratings of BQ2040SN-C408TR: (1)Relative to VSS: -0.3 to +7.0 V; (2)All other pins Relative to VSS: -0.3 to +7.0 V; (3)Relative to VSS: -0.3 to +8.5 V at Current limited by R11; (4)Relative to VSS: -0.3 +7.0 V at Minimum 100series resistor should be used to protect SR in case of a shorted battery.; (5)Operating temperature: 0 to +70 °C at Commercial.
