The BGY888 is designed as one kind of CATV amplifier modules. Hybrid high dynamic range amplifier module operating with a voltage supply of 24V in a SOT115J package. The high gain module consists of two cascaded stages both in cascode configuration. Typical applications is single module line extender in CATV systems operating over a frequency range of 40 to 860MHz.
BGY888 has four features. (1)Excellent linearity. (2)Extremely low noise. (3)High gain. (4)Excellent return loss properties. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of BGY888 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its RF input voltage would be max 55dBmV. (2)Its operating mounting base temperature range would be from -20°C to 100°C. (3)Its storage temperature range would be from -40°C to 110°C. (4)Its power gain would be min 33.5dB and max 34.5dB at f=50MHz and would be min 34dB at f=860MHz. (5)Its total current consumption DC would be max 340mA. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
Also some electrical characteristics of BGY888 are concluded as follow. (1)Its power gain would be min 33.5dB and typ 34dB and max 34.5dB at f=50MHz and would be min 34dB and typ 35dB at f=860MHz.
