The BCM6306 is a single-line ADSL2+/VDSL2 multimode analog front end (AFE) device that supports VDSL2 with seamless fallback to ADSL2+ for Customer Premise (CPE) applications. In combination with the BCM6368 High Performance xDSL IAD, the BCM6306 supports ITU-T G.992.1, G.992.3, G.992.5 operation modes as well as ITU-T G.993.2 VDSL2 profiles from 8a/b/c/d to 30a applications at the CPE.

The combined BCM6368/6306 VDSL2/ADSL2+ chipset solution delivers more than 100 Megabits per second (Mbps) of symmetric downstream and upstream bandwidth. Additionally, by leveraging the additional analog input on the BCM6368, the BCM6306 supports VDSL2 and ADSL2+ channel bonding, thereby increasing the upstream and downstream bandwidth of DSL connections.
