Description

Bluetooth for Windows® Vista Profile Pack (BCM1000-VPP) is a Broadcom communications software solution for adding Bluetooth® wireless technology features to Microsoft Windows Vista operating system platforms. It enables PC OEMs and accessory manufacturers to quickly and easily add Bluetooth profiles, including mono and stereo audio features, and functionality to complete Microsoft's Bluetooth offering on Vista desktop and notebook PCs. This innovative solution is fully compliant with the Bluetooth profile specifications and leverages Broadcom's existing BTW Bluetooth qualifications.

BCM1000-VPP includes a set of user mode components which implement Bluetooth profiles, user interface, shell extension APIs, support and test tools, and documentation. This is designed to operate on the Vista SP1 operating system with the Microsoft Wireless Feature Pack and has been optimized to support Broadcom's Blutonium® chipsets. That provides simple integration, powerful diagnostics, and the shortest possible time-to-market -exactly what you would expect from the experts at developing Bluetooth HCI-compliant wireless technology solutions.
