Description

The Am29DL16xD family consists of 16 megabit, 3.0volt-only flash memory devices, organized as 1,048,576words of 16 bits each or 2,097,152 bytes of 8 bits each.

Word mode data appears on DQ0DQ15; byte modedata appears on DQ0DQ7. Am29DL16xD is designedto be programmed in-system with the standard 3.0 voltVCC supply, and can also be programmed in standardPROM programmers.

The device is available with an access time of 70, 90,or 120 ns. The devices are offered in 48-pin TSOP,48-ball Fine-pitch BGA, and 64-ball Fortified BGApackages. Standard control pins-chip enable (CE#),write enable (WE#), and output enable (OE#)-controlormal read and write operations, and avoid bus con-tention issues.

Am29DL16xD requires only a single 3.0 volt power sup-ply for both read and write functions. Internallygenerated and regulated voltages are provided for theprogram and erase operations.
