The ATTINY26L-8PU is designed as a low-power CMOS 8-bit microcontroller based on the AVR enhanced RISC architecture. By executing powerful instructions in a single clock cycle, the ATtiny26(L) achieves throughputs approaching 1 MIPS per MHz allowing the system designer to optimize power consumption versus processing speed.
ATTINY26L-8PU has eight features. (1)High-performance, low-power AVR 8-bit microcontroller. (2)RISC architecture 118 powerful instructions-most single clock cycle execution. (3)Data and non-volatile program memory 2K bytes of in-system programmable program memory flash endurance: 10,000 write/erase cycles. (4)Peripheral 8-bit timer/counter with separate prescaler. (5)Special microcontroller low power idle, noise reduction, and power-down modes. (6)I/O and packages 20-lead PDIP/SOIC: 16 programmable I/O lines. (7)Operating voltages from 2.7V to 5.5V. (8)Speed grades 0 to 8MHz. Those are all the main features.
Some ATTINY26L-8PU absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its operating temperature range would be from 55°C to 125°C. (2)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. (3)Its voltage on any pin except RESET with respect to ground would be from -0.5V to Vcc+0.5V. (4)Its voltage on RESET with respect to ground would be from -0.5V to 13V. (5)Its maximum operating voltage would be 6.0V. (6)Its DC current per I/O pin would be 40mA. (7)Its DC current Vcc and GND pins would be 200mA. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
