The ATR28XXD Series of DC/DC converters feature igh power density and an extended temperature range or use in military and industrial applications. Designed o MIL-STD-704D input requirements, these devices ave nominal 28VDC inputs with ±12V and ±15V dual utputs to satisfy a wide range of requirements. The ircuit design incorporates a pulse width modulated ingle forward topology operating in the feed-forward ode at a nominal switching frequency of 550KHz.Input to output isolation is achieved through the use of ransformers in the forward and feedback circuits.
The ATR28XXD advanced feedback design provides fast loop response or superior line and load transient characteristics nd offers greater reliability and radiation tolerance han devices incorporating optical feedback circuits.
Three standard temperature grades are offered by ATR28XXD with creening options. Refer to Part Number section. They an be provided in a standard plug-in package for PC ounting or in a flanged package for more severe environments.
These ATR28XXD converters are manufactured in a facility certified o MIL-PRF-38534. All processes used to manufacture hese converters have been qualified to enable dvanced Analog to deliver compliant devices.

Four screening grades are available to satisfy a wide ange of requirements. The CH grade converters are ully compliant to MIL-PRF-38534 for class H. The HB rade converters are processed to full class H screening ut do not have class H element evaluation as required y MIL-PRF-38534. Both grades are fully tested nd operate over the full military temperature range ithout derating of output power. The ES version is a ull temperature device without the full class H or element valuation. The non-suffix device ATR28XXD is a low cost limited temperature range option. Variations in electrical, mechanical and screening can be accommodated.Extensive computer simulation using complex odeling enables rapid design modification to e provided.
