The AT32C16 chip is a low-power, high-performace One Time Programmable(OTP) Read Only Memory (FROM) organized32K*16. AT32C16 requires only one 5V power supply in normal read mode operation. Any word than 150ns, eliminating the need for speed reducing WAIT states. The by-16 organization makes these parts ideal far high-perfor- mance 16 and 32 bit microprocesssor systems.
The AT32C16 comes in a choice of industry standard JEDEC-approved packages including; 40-pin DIP one time programmable (OTP) plastic or OTP plastic J-leaded chip carrier All devices feature two line control (CE, OE) to give designers the flexibility to prevent bus contention. With high density 32K word storage capability, the AT32C16 allow Firmware to be stored reliably and to be accessed by the system without the delays of mass storage media. Atrnel's 32C16 have additional features to ensure high quality and efficient production use. The Rapid Programming Algorithm of AT32C16 reduces the time required to program the pan and guarantees reliable programming. Programming time is typically only 100ps/word. The Integrated Product Identification Code electronically identifies the device and manufacturer. This feature of AT32C16 is used by industry standard programming equipment to select the proper programming algorithms and voltages.
