Description

The AT27C2048 is a low-power, high performance 2,097,152-bit one-time programmable ead only memory (OTP EPROM) organized 128K by 16 bits. It requires a single V power supply in normal read mode operation. Any word can be accessed in ess than 55 ns, eliminating the need for speed-reducing WAIT states. The by-16 rganization makes this part ideal for high-performance 16 and 32 bit microprocessor ystems.

In read mode, the AT27C2048 typically consumes 15 mA. tandby mode supply current is typically less than 10 A. he AT27C2048 is available in industry standard EDEC-approved one-time programmable (OTP) plastic DIP, PLCC, and TSOP packages. The device features wo-line control (CE, OE) to eliminate bus contention in igh-speed systems.

With high density 128K word storage capability, the T27C2048 allows firmware to be stored reliably and to be ccessed by the system without the delays of mass storage edia.

Atmel's AT27C2048 has additional features that ensure igh quality and efficient production use. The Rapid™ Programming lgorithm reduces the time required to program he part and guarantees reliable programming. Programming ime is typically only 50 ms/word. The Integrated Product dentification Code electronically identifies the device nd manufacturer. This feature is used by industry standard rogramming equipment to select the proper programming lgorithms and voltages.
